    I reserved a copy of  "Wellness Simplified - The Everyday Seasonal Cook" as soon as I heard about it.  Then I had to wait for the holidays to actually get it from my family who know how much the education from FGF means to me.  It was well worth the wait!!!  I have tons of notes and recipes from all of their classes, but ... The book is great - makes it so much easier having it all in one place AND there are new recipes!  It's a great companion to "Wellness Simplified - Herbalism From The Ground Up" and is organized seasonally the same way.   Forrest Green Farm Rocks! This book is a must-have for anyone who's interested in whole living! If you can, consider taking their classes. You won't regret it!

    I met Skyler at a Homesteaders Of America event in 2022. It was the first I had heard of Forrest Green Farms. I love books and quickly purchased their first Book Herbalism From The Ground Up. That night back at my hotel I had time to read the book and was so impressed by how much information about herbs they got into one book. I ordered The Everyday Seasonal Cookbook as soon as it was available with 12 of their herb packets. Anyone interested in being self-sufficient or just being knowledgeable in plants and food should buy both these books for their bookshelf. I already know a lot and have tons of books already but find both Wellness Simplified books to be a great addition. I really appreciate that Krista and Skyler also published these themselves and printed them in the USA! Keep up the good work and thank you to your family.

    This seasonal cookbook is wonderful as a companion to the previous Wellness Simplified herb book.

    From the basic guide through the kitchen and nourishing ingredients, to the tasty healthy recipes for each season, this cookbook reinforces that wholesome eating can be well seasoned and delicious.

    Can't wait to try recipes from this cookbook through the year using my garden as a resource for healthful ingredients.

    I enjoyed the book. It is very comprehensive. The front of the book goes through different techniques of cooking and variations of the same foods.
    Being an herb-type person I am thrilled with the recipes that were selected using other herbs (shiso, gota kola, nettle etc.) for culinary use instead of the standard cooking herbs (basil, oregan, etc.) Although they are also included in the recipes. The format of the book is easy to use and very colorful. Many pictures are included so you know what it should look like when you finish making it. (not always the case when I cook - sometimes my pies turn out to be puddings). I look forward to giving this book as a gift to people I know will enjoy them, not only for health benefits, but also for taste.
