Mullein (Verbascum spp.)

Mullein is an excellent tonic for the lungs. It has a soothing and relaxing effect on the lungs, which can be helpful for people dealing with coughs, asthma, and dry lungs. Long-term use of mullein can help tone the lung tissues.

Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis)

Did you know that Hyssop is an amazing herb that can help with lung issues, viral infections, and cold & flu? It's actually one of the main ingredients in the famous Four Thieves formula. Have you heard of this formula? It's said that during the Black Plague, thieves would steal from infected homes without getting sick. When the king eventually arrested them, they revealed their secret - the Four Thieves formula made with herbs like hyssop, lavender, sage, thyme, lemon balm, rosemary, garlic, oregano, and wormwood. They would soak cloth masks in this formula to cover their mouths and noses, which helped them stay healthy. Hyssop truly is a powerful antibacterial herb!

Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus)

Rosemary is an antibacterial and antiseptic herb that is known to be a great memory enhancer and can increase mental stimulation. It's also said to increase blood flow to the brain, which can be really helpful. It's a circulatory enhancer and can even help promote hair growth!

Catnip (Nepeta cataria)

Did you know that catnip affects humans differently than it does cats? It's true! While catnip is known to be a soothing and calming nervine with sedative qualities for humans, it has a very different effect on our feline friends. In fact, catnip is known to be a stimulant for cats, causing them to become more playful and energetic. But for humans, the sedative qualities of catnip can be especially helpful for children and older folks who have trouble sleeping or feel restless. So if you're looking for a natural way to relax and unwind, catnip might just be the perfect solution for you!
